Stiriti Ingredients LLC has announced its official entry into the North American dietary supplement, function food and beverage market with its signature SA3X Spilanthes acmella ingredient.

Stiriti Ingredients LLC (Hyderabad, India) has announced its official entry into the North American dietary supplement, function food and beverage market with its signature SA3X Spilanthes acmella ingredient, standardized to Spilanthol, targeting men’s health. The herb has been used in traditional folk medicine, and been validated by research for its diuretic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activities. SAX3 in particular has been researched for its ability to support male virility and sexual function.

“SA3X has a compelling scientific journey,” said Prabhu Ramachandran, managing director of Stiriti Ingredients, in a press release. “A few detailed population-based studies were a steppingstone for randomized, triple-blinded, placebo-controlled studies. One research study led to another, and we unlocked the unlimited potential of the herb.”

One population-based study1 found that the ingredient supported muscle mass, specifically mid-upper arm circumference, as well as sexual function in male subjects. A more recent randomized, triple-blind, placebo-controlled study2 found that the ingredient significantly improved sexual function in men with symptoms of erectile dysfunction, compared to placebo.
